What is Orthodontic Diagnosis

and Treatment Planning - Applied?

Module 1B is a self-paced, interactive, online module that focuses on building your practical skills. It continues from Theoretical Module 1A with the diagnosis aspect of the course. It describes the practical tools required to build a complete orthodontic record for each patient, and pose an accurate diagnosis using the appropriate tools.

Once the diagnosis is obtained and validated, a case presentation template is presented for you to sequentially study the case, create a problem list, and arrive at a comprehensive treatment plan. Participants may present their patient cases to Dr. Retrouvey during the Case Presentation session, which is scheduled every three months.

More about Dr. Retrouvey

What our Participants Say

"I really appreciate that Dr. Retrouvey values the basics and foundation of orthodontics. This is the only course I found that started from a very systemic approach to the subject."

Dr. Tina C.

"Over the years I have attended many different courses. Some of them are focused on a specific topic, but most of them are organized by different companies and have a clear bias. Courses that give you knowledge about the patient's exam, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and the way of understanding ... all of this is a rarity, giving every detail the attention it deserves.

- Dr. Michaila N.

Thank you very much to Dr Retrouvey and the IFDE Team for the interesting webinar you did. It’s useful for me to practice orthodontics more intelligently and effectively.

- Dr. Ninh T.
